Upcoming Testing Dates:

There are no more official testing dates.

However, you can still call the Admissions Office at 312.491.1600 x 222 to schedule a test for your student!

Academic Scholarships are available for students who test well on the entrance exam. Students with a strong academic record can also qualify for a scholarship.

Important Test Information

Test is mandatory for acceptance to Hope. There is a $20 test fee.
  • Students do not need to have the application packet finished before testing.
  • If a student has already taken the HSPT at another school, he/she does not have to test again. Fax or mail the scores to Chicago Hope’s Admissions Office. (see below)

Test Prep

1) ONLINE- you can HSPT test prep at many different sites. Here are two sites we recommend: Peterson’s HSPT Test Prep or Study Guide Zone.
2) STUDY GUIDES- Most bookstores will have a test/study section. You can find the HSPT study guide under the “Catholic School Test”. (It will have other test prep in the same book, but as long as it has the HSPT on the cover, it will have two practice tests and study material).

Once a student has completed CHA’s entrance exam, it will take about two weeks for the results to come in.
