Testing

Test is mandatory for acceptance to Hope. There is a $20 test fee.

• Students do not need to have the application packet finished before testing.
• If a student has already taken the HSPT at another school, he/she does not have to test again. Fax or mail the scores to Chicago Hope’s Admissions Office. (see below)

1) ONLINE- go to Peterson’s College Search website to take practice tests and receive detailed answers and explanations.

2) STUDY GUIDES- The following books can be found in most bookstores:

• Barron’s, How to prepare for the COOP/HSPT/TACHS
• COOP and HSPT: Test Preparation for the Catholic and Other Private High School Entrance Examinations
• McGraw-Hill’s, Catholic High School Entrance Examinations: COOP/TACHS/ HSPT

Once a student has completed CHA’s entrance exam, it will take about two weeks for the test to be processed.
